Ron E. Kayfield’s “The Star” Guitar

The “Star” is a one of a kind guitar. The neck is made of one piece Bolivan Rosewood handmade by Luthier John Love. The body is made of solid Koa and was once owned by Ron’s friend, Tommy Keifer (Cinderella). Ron finished making the guitar and used it on the Waysted Vices album & tours. The Tremolo system is a prototype Kahler 1 of 100. The vintage pick up is an early 70’s DiMarzio Super Distortion humbucker with vintage electronics. He played it on Waysted’s “Love Loaded” video and on the Saints and Sinners CD (Tone To The Bone!!!!), so listen to the songs to hear it for yourself!
